FOOD AND DRUGS ACT.
The Essex County Council is the Authority responsible for
the administration of this Act in the Borough. The Inspector for
the District, Mr. Card, has supplied the following particulars of
the work done during the year:—

Thirteen prosecutions were undertaken, one case was withdrawn, the costs, 11s. and 13s. 6d., were ordered to be paid in two cases, and the following fines were inflicted:—
