Number of Patients Admitted to the Isolation Hospital.
" In every case where it was desired or necessary, the patient
was removed to the Isolation Hospital.
During June 20 out of 22 cases notified were admitted.

" We have now reached the limit of accommodation, amd
should the epidemic continue it will be necessary to discharge the
Tuberculosis patients."
Enteric Fever.
19 cases of Enteric (Typhoid) Fever were notified during the
year.
In none of the cases could any probable cause be traced to
the Borough.
There is no doubt that the chief infection is caused by eating
shell-fish, especially mussels.
There were only two deaths from this disease, which is
exceptionally low.
Of the cases notified, 15 were admitted to the Isolation
Hospital, six of them from one family.
