Method of Inspection.— No actual alteration has been made
in the method of inspection. The procedure is as follows:—
(1). The parents are notified and invited to by present
at the inspection.
(2). The teachers record the child's attendance and their
opinion as to its mental capacity, also I have asked
them in the future to weigh and measure the
children.
(3). The nurse examines the vision of the older boys and
girls with test types, also notes the condition of the
child as to cleanliness.
(4). The above details are entered on the Inspection
Card by the Clerk in readiness for the Doctor when
he attends for inspection.
The Schedule of Inspection is the same as last year and is
reproduced on the next two pages.
I have been dissatisfied with certain details in the preparation
of complete and accurate records necessary to follow up the
cases, and a new procedure is to be adopted to solve this
difficulty.
