During the year none of the Nursing Staff contracted any
infectious disease. The Matron was indisposed with Influenza
and Bronchitis.
One Nurse had a Septic Phlebitis, contracted whilst nursing
an Enteric patient, but is now convalescent.
The efficiency of the work done by all members of the
Hospital Staff is beyond question. This is testified to by the
number of letters of thanks that are received throughout the
year from patients themselves and also from parents of patients
who have been treated in the Hospital.
