Dust Bins.—It has been necessary to report to the Public
Health Committee, some 301 houses as not being provided with
suitable dust bins, and authority has been given in each
instance for the service of the usual Statutory Notice upon
the owner, under the provisions of the East Ham Improvement
Act, to furnish each house with an efficient, portable, galvanized
iron bin, failing the compliance with this Notice, the Council
has exercised its power by providing the bin and recovering the
cost.

refuse dealt with:—
