renovated and painted with Paripan. Lavatory accommodation
was also provided for the playroom which is over the
centre of this ward.
Alterations and improvements were also made to the
Matron's quarters, and the Diphtheria and Typhoid Wards and
Administration block (temporary buildings) were painted outside.

The following table gives the total bed accommodation now available for patients :—

The Diphtheria and Enteric Wards and the accommodation
for the staff of these wards are temporary buildings of
wood and iron.
The Observation and Scarlet Fever Wards, and the
quarters for the staff of these are permanent brick buildings.
