North Road at Hadley and Pricklers Hill, and the
East Barnet Road, and Brookhill Road.
Application was also made for a grant for treating
Station Road, Barnet Hill, and the steep portion of
East Barnet Road, with Akonia.
The County Surveyor has, however, stated that he
cannot support the application for Akonia.
The result of the application to the Road Board
is not yet known.
Making up Private Streets.—Plans and
estimates were prepared, and notices served to make
up the following streets :—
Park View Crescent.
Spencer Road.
Northumberland Road (part).
Edward Grove.
Old Fold Lane (part).
Margaret Road (part).
Local inquiries were held by the Local Government
Board, and loans amounting to £2,526 were
sanctioned in respect of all the streets except Margaret
Road, which the Board did not consider sufficiently
built upon to justify being made up.
