Urban District of Chiswick
Public Health Department,
Town Hall, Chiswick, W.
January, 1912.
Mr. Chairman and Gentlemen,
In accordance with the Order and Circular of the
Local Government Board, I have the honour to submit
my Twentieth Annual Report, giving a resume of
the work carried out by your sanitary staff during the
past year. I am also appending the usual tables,
giving particulars of the systematic inspections, houseto-house
inspection, and the varied sanitary work
performed in pursuance of the Public Health Acts, etc.
In submitting this report, I may state that although
the health of the district has been maintained at a
high standard (as will be seen on reference to the
report of the Medical Officer of Health), considerable
activity has been displayed in promptly dealing with
cases of infectious disease, the testing and making
good of drainage, the removal of general nuisances,
the inspection of food, and inspections under the
Regulations as to the systematic inspection of the
district.
