At the end of the year, Mr. Jackman resigned the position of
Nuisance Inspector, which he had held for nearly thirty-five years. Whilst
naturally regretting the loss of a fellow worker during over thirty years.
I hope that the services of Mr. Froes, the Inspector appointed in Mr.
Jackman's place, will prove of great value to the health and welfare of the
district.
I give in the last table, Table I, a short resume of some of the
Nuisances abated, and Sanitary improvements made during the year, and
I append to my Report a copy of the five Tables drawn up by me for the
Local Government Board.
