For the months of October, November and December, the average results recorded
on the apparatus on the roof of the Isleworth Telephone Exchange were: rainfall,
3.31 inches; deposit, 7,59 tons per sq. mile and sulphur, 1.92 milligrams SO3 per day
per 100 sq. cm.
The deposit gauges and lead peroxide apparatus have been in use at Heath House
and the Health Department for 10 years and the average monthly results over that period
are as under:-
