Particulars of the Lectures and the estimated attendances are given as follows:—

"How the country is kept clean," by J. C. Dawes, Esq., O.B.E., M.I.M.E. (Public Cleansing and Salvage Inspector, Ministry of Health).Given at Whitechapel Art Gallery. Chairman: Alderman J. D. Somper, J.P. Estimated attendance : 300.
"Diet and Nutrition," by Charles Porter, Esq., M.D., B.Sc., Medical Officer of Health, St. Marylebone.Given at Limehouse Town Hall. Chairman : Alderman (Mrs.) C. B. Lankester, J.P. Estimated attendance: 200.
"Health and Beauty," by Mrs. G. Rewcastle, M.B., B.Ch. (Health and Cleanliness Council).Given at Girls' Club, Brady Street Dwellings. Chairman : Councillor (Miss) Moses, J.P. Estimated attendance: 80.
"What every young man and woman should know," by R. Forgan, Esq., M.C., D.P.H. (British Social Hygiene Council).Given at St. George's Town Hall. Chairman : Alderman (Mrs.) F. W. Reidy. Estimated attendance: 400.
"Health and Efficiency," by P. H. Jones, Esq., M.C., B.A. (Health and Cleanliness Council).Given at Boys' (Tub, Brady Street Dwellings. Chairman : Councillor J. Emden. Estimated attendance : 60.
"Tuberculosis and the Protection of Childhood," by Harley Williams, Esq., M.D., D.P.H. (Medical Commissioner, National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis).Given at Whitechapel Art Gallery. Chairman : His Worship the Mayor,Councillor R. G. Mullan, J.P. Estimated attendance : 300.

The lectures were accompanied by film displays, and were much appreciated.
They proved to be very interesting, and questions were asked by the
audience at each lecture.
Afternoon film displays were arranged for the mothers attending all the
Infant Welfare Centres—the average attendance being 55.
The Health Publicity Van showed Health films at various street corners
each evening, and proved a great draw.
A large supply of Health leaflets were distributed free at the lectures.
We had a successful week, and I feel sure that the lectures have been of
benefit to those attending.
