Cancer.
The number of deaths from cancer was 342, or 16 more than in the
previous year.
72 belonged to Limehouse.
61 belonged to St. George-in-the-East.

84 belonged to Whitechapel.
The death-rate for the whole Borough was 1.5 per 1,000 of the population
