As a result of proceedings taken against the vendor of Sample F 9 which
was 8.3 per cent. deficient in fat, the case was dismissed on the production of
a warranty. Prior to 1925 it was only necessary for the retailer to prove a
warranty for the case to be dismissed and during that year, in the case of one
