On 11th June, Franks & Simons, 340, Mile End Road, E.l, were summoned
for failing to abate nuisances caused by defective roofs, damp walls and
dilapidated ceiling at 35, Bower Street, E.l.
They were ordered to do the work in 14 days, and to pay £1 7s. costs.

On 12th June, F. S. Johnson, 23, Park Road, Stoney Stratford, was
summoned for failing to abate nuisances arising from damp and dilapidated
condition of back basement room, and defective flooring, etc., at 51, St. Paul's
Road, E.3.
He was ordered to abate the nuisances within 7 days, and to pay £2 8s.
costs.
On 20th June, I^ouis Galinski, 130, High Street, Whitechapel, E.l, was
summoned for failing to abate nuisances arising from damp walls, defective
sink waste pipes, eaves gutters, roof, etc., at 32, Little Turner Street, E.l.
He was ordered to pay £2 8s. costs.
On 27th June, Charles Benabo & Sons, 240, Mile End Road, E.l, were
summoned for failing to repair defective gutters at 19, Vine Court, E.l.
The work having been done before the hearing, the case was withdrawn
on payment of £2 4s. costs.

for failing to abate nuisances arising from defective roof, dilapidated walls
and ceiling of first floor room at 25, Golding Terrace, E.l.

for failing to abate nuisances arising from defective yard paving, defective
stove and fireplace of basement room at 18, Golding Terrace, E.l.
