A Select Committee of the House of Commons is now sitting
to consider the whole question of the working of the Act, and
the resolutions passed at the Conference have been, or will be
laid before that Committee.
The Society of Public Analysts has proposed a draft Bill to be
laid before the Select Committee, and it is to be hoped that the
Acts relating to the Sale of Food and Drugs will be thoroughly
amended, of which amendment they stand in urgent need.
I am, Gentlemen,
Faithfully yours,
R. BODMER, F.I.C.
Analytical Laboratory,
16, Southwark Street,
August, 1894.
