TO THE ST. SAVIOUR'S DISTRICT BOARD OF
WORKS.
Gentlemen,—
The following details represent the Statistics of Births and
Deaths, and the results of our Sanitary work during the past
year.
The registered number of Births was 926:462 occurring in
Christchurch, and 464 in St. Saviour.
The registered number of Deaths was 633:382 occurring in
Christchurch, and 251 in St. Saviour.
One hundred and thirty-eight deaths occurred in Christchurch Workhouse. The following Statement will indicate the Parishes from which they were admitted:—
