Printed in accordance with Section 198 of the Metropolis
Local Management Act (18 and 19 Vict., cap. 120), and ordered
to be circulated among the inhabitants of the District.
No steps having been taken by the South Eastern Railway
Company to obtain an extension of the time limited by the
South Eastern Railway (New Lines and Widenings) Act, 1882,
as amended by their Various Powers Act, 1885, the time
thereby granted for the compulsory purchase of lands in
St. Saviour's expired on the 18th August last, and that for
the carrying out of the works will terminate on the 18th
August next. The Company have introduced a Bill this
session for, inter alia, extending the time limited by their
Various Powers Act, 1882, as amended by their Various
SouthEastern
Rail.
