Footways.
The following Works have been executed in the repair and
maintenance of the Footways in this District :—
New 3-in. York Stone Paving laid 288 feet super.
Old York Paving relaid 24,929 ,, „
Old Curb dressed and fixed 362 feet run.

New Victoria Stone laid 2,530 feet super.
Carriageways.
The following Works have been executed in the repair and
maintenance of the Carriageways in this District:—
New 3-in. x 6-in. Aberdeen Granite
Pitching 13 yards super.
Granite Pitching relaid 5,578 ,, ,,
Granite Pitching redressed 1,889 ,, ,,
Asphalte Carriageway (Val de Travers) 930 ,, ,,
Ballast used in the repair, &c., of Carriageways,
including all special work 494 cubic yards.
Ballast spread on Blackfriars Bridge Incline
and Stamford Street 611 ,, ,,
The following Macadam Carriageways were stripped, covered
with Macadam, and rolled with a steam roller :—

York Street 50
Surrey Row 40
Boundary Row 43
Marlborough Street 35
Jane Street 45
Robert Street 25
400 cubic yards of Macadam have been broken in the Stone
Yard, Ewer Street.
