Sixteen deaths from violence happened in Christchurch and
fifteen in St. Saviour. Of inquests, twenty-five were held in
Christchurch and eighteen in St. Saviour.
Twenty-six bodies were conveyed to the Mortuary during the
year. A large proportion of them were the victims of drowning
in the River Thames.
In the following statement I would direct your attention to the
ages of those who have died during the past year.
