Tho Foot and Carriage-way Pavements havo been made good after
removals and alterations of Gas and Water Pipes in 996 cases.
42 Licenses to put up Scaffolds and Hoardings have been issued,
and tho Paving, &c., relaid and made good.
Many of tho Brick Sewers and tho whole of the Pipe Sewers havo
been several times Hushed by water direct from the River, or by
water-carts. ,
Tho whole of tho Macadamized Roads and Streets have been repaired
as required, partly with new granite and with old materials
lroni Stone-yard and other places.
