The cab rank in Duncannon Street has been paved with asphalte,
a principle which is being adopted throughout the parish when new
paving works are in hand.
The repaying of James Street, Long Acre, was necessitated by
the recent widening of the street consequent upon the setting back
ot the building line on the east side, the land having been given by
the Duke of Bedford.
