Upper St. Martin's Lane.—A small portion of the granite pavement taken up at the boundary with St. Giles's Parish adjoining Castle Street, and relaid with 5 in. Jarrah wood blocks
The wood pavements were laid with 9 in. by G in. by 3 in. yellow
deal blocks, having |t,h in. joints, formed by means of cast metal
studs, as described in my last year's Report.
