LICENCES.
46 Licences (not including renewals) have been granted for
hoardings and scaffolds for the purpose of pulling down, re-building,
and alterations. Licences have also been granted, in 9 cases,
to take up pavements for repairing rain water pipes, fixing lamps,
and other similar purposes. The cost of making good these
openings has been charged to the person taking out the Licence.
