adjoining the Statue of King Charles I., with the following
accommodation:—
For Men 12 W.C.'s; 28 Urinals; and 2 Lavatories.
For Women 5 W.C.'s, and 2 Lavatories.
Together with Caretaker's Rooms, Stores, &c.
The necessary Working and Detail Drawings, Specifications, and
Quantities have been prepared, and it is proposed to divide the
. work into two Contracts—one for the General Builder's work and
one for the Sanitary Fittings. Advertisements have been issued for
Tenders, and the work will I trust be completely finished in the
autumn of the present year.
GREEN STREET IMPROVEMENT.
The work in connection with this much needed improvement has
been commenced by pulling down the buildings occupying the sites
of No. 31 Leicester Square, and No. 1 Green Street. A temporary
fence has been erected diagonally across the site, and the portion
outside same given up to the street, thus allowing the public the
immediate benefit of a portion of the improvement.

WHITCOMB STREET IMPROVEMENT.
This improvement from Coventry Street to Panton Street has
now been completed, the net cost of the paving works being
£135 15s. 8d.
The proprietors of the Lyric Club have extended their awning
to the increased width of footway.
