Scarlet Fever.—5 deaths were due to this complaint.
Diphtheria.—5 deaths were caused by this disease,
one of which was a non-parishioner, who died in the
Charing Cross Hospital.
Whooping Cough caused the death of 2 children,
This number is the lowest of the last ten years.
Fever.—This includes Typhus, Typhoid, Simple
Continued Fever, and Remittent Fever. 6 deaths
were registered from this class of disorders, they were
all due to Typhoid Fever; 2 of which were those
of non-parishioners who died at the Charing Cross
Hospital.
Diarrhœa.—11 deaths were caused by this malady,
9 of which were in young children.
Diseases of the Respiratory Organs, including
Consumption, destroyed 120. This number is 19
less than in the previous year.
Diseases of the Heart.—32 deaths were due to
this complaint, against 40 of the previous year.
Cancer proved fatal to 15 persons.
