An Abstract of the Receipts and Expenditure of the
Commissioners of Baths and Wash-houses from the 1st
January until the 31st December, 1882, (pages 52 to 54).
The Report of their Medical Officer of Health, for the
year ended 31st December, 1882, containing- particulars of
the population, rate of mortality, and other statistics relating
to the general health of the District (pages 55 to 71).
And the Report of the Vestry's Surveyor for the year ended
Lady-day, 1883, in which will be found the particulars of
the works carried out under his supervision (pages 73 to 79).
VESTRY MEETINGS AND COMMITTEES.
The return attached to this Report (page 6) shows that
the Vestry have held 25 meetings, and the various Committees
27 meetings, during the year ended Lady-day last.
SANITARY.
The Vestry have caused 98 Notices for Abatement of
Nuisances to be served during the past year, and in all
cases such notices have been complied with.
PARLIAMENTARY BILLS.
Central Metropolitan Railway Company. This Bill was
reported to the Vestry on the 4th May, 1882, as having
been thrown out on the second reading.
The following have not been proceeded with, viz.:—
Charing Cross and Waterloo Electric Railway (Extensions).
London Tramways Extensions.
Mid-London Market.
South London Tramways.
