repairs to streets, roads, &c.
The principal repairs, both to the carriage and foot way
are given in detail, and as will be seen under the head
carriage-way paving. Two plots of the macadamized road
have been paved with 3×7 stone, viz., at the western end
of Cockspur Street and Pall Mall East; and the cost
macadamized roads has been considerably less than th
previous year.
