BILL.
This Bill was introduced into Parliament for the purpose
of conferring further powers on the Baker Street and
Waterloo Railway Company, incorporated under the Company's
Act of 1893.
The Bill proposed to extend the times limited by the Act
of 1893 for the compulsory purchase of lands and buildings
for three years from the 28th day of March, 1896, and for
the construction and completion of the Railways and
Works thereby authorised for three years from the 58th
day of March, 1898; to abandon the construction of a
portion of the Railway authorised by the Act of 1893 ; to
empower the Company to construct the Railways authorised
in three sections, each section to be constituted a separate
undertaking with a separate and distinct capital and
borrowing powers; and to give various other general
powers to the promoters.
The Vestry did not deem it necessary to take any action
with regard to the Bill.
