For the due management of the property, the Yestry

signs an agreement, on entering, to observe the same:—
1. The Rents to be paid One Week in advance, and will be received on
the Saturday Evening, after Six o'clock, or at any hour on the Monday, till
Ten o'clock p.m. Tenants will not on any account be allowed to be in
arrear with payment for rent, or to take Lodgers, or keep a dog or other
animal.
2. Tenants are required to report to the Caretaker any births, deaths, or
infectious disease occurring in their rooms. Any Tenant not complying
with this rule will receive notice to quit.
3. The Passage leading to each set of apartments to be swept daily, and
washed every Saturday.
4. All broken windows must be repaired by the tenants at their own
cost, and no flower pots are to be exposed on the outside of ledges without
sufficient protection (under penalty of 40s., see Police Act), neither shall
any clothes or unsightly objects be exposed to view, nor any furniture or
fittings fixed to the walls without permission, nor any articles allowed to
stand in the passages.
