Heddon Street, one in Regent Street by the County Fire

Refuge was lighted with an 80-candle "Lambeth" lamp.
The Refuge in Regent Street by Conduit Street, and the
Refuge to the North of Piccadilly Circus, were also removed
to a slightly altered position.

The following alterations were carried out in streets which
have been repaved:—Ingestre Place, the carriageway
widened to admit of the passage of two vehicles ; Broad

Regent Street and Piccadilly, the camber and levels of
carriageways altered so as to ease the traffic and improve the
appearance of the streets.
