1,785 openings made good after Gas and Water Companies, Post Office, and other unavoidable interferences with the surface, the cost of which is reimbursed to the Vestry.
The quantities amount to—
Pitching Paving 3,730 yards super
Macadam 1,200 do.
Wood 120 do.
Footway 10,000 feet super.
Asphalte — Practically nil, included in footways.
15 openings made good after disturbance by private individuals after Hoardings. Re-constructing vaults, the cost of which is also paid by those who disturb the same under licence from the Vestry.
