Rev. Sir and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit the annexed particulars
of one hundred and seventy six Articles Analysed during
the year 1878, under the provisions of the "Sale of Food
and Drugs Act, 1875."—It will be seen that eighteen
samples were more or less adulterated, but that in no case
was any poisonous ingredient found.
No money or other consideration, except the stipend
paid by the Vestry, has been received by me in connection
with these analyses.
