Drains reconstructed, cleansed, repaired, &c., during
the Year, 1873.
3, Argyll Street. Main drain from sewer to front area
reconstructed with 9-inch pipes, and the 9-inch pipe drain
from thence to water-closet in back area taken up and relaid,
branch drain in front kitchen, front and back areas,
re-constructed with 4-inch pipes. October 7th.
10, Bentinck Street. Main drain unstopped, cleansed,
and repaired. September 22nd.
3, Berwick Street. Main drain unstopped, cleansed,
and repaired. April 23rd. Again unstopped and cleansed.
September 3rd.
7, Berwick Street. Main and branch drains unstopped
and cleansed. November 27th.
9 and 10, Berwick Street. Main drain from basement
of No. 10 to water-closets in the yards reconstructed
with 9-inch pipes and the branches of 6-inch pipes.
October 28th.
26, Berwick Street. Branch drains from gully in yard
to water-closet, and rain-water pipe reconstructed, the
former of 6 and the latter of 4-inch pipes. November
25th.
