occasion for doing this is urgent, and as the Parish
of St. James's, Westminster, has the means it would
be its greatest glory to teach the other Parishes of
London the way in which they ought to live, as well
as to let others live, on whose health and industry
the wealth and splendour of this Parish depends.
St. James's is now a Royal Parish in name; by
providing decent homes for its ingenious, industrious,
and hardly pressed working classes, it would be a
Royal Parish indeed.
