CAPITAL ACCOUNT.
The sum to the credit of the Capital Account £1823 16s. 10d.
is a balance of unexpended loan for Friar, &c., Streets Sewer Works.
With regard to the Abstract, I have altered the form from that
of previous years in order to bring the accounts more in keeping with
the Estimates, and to be better able to compare the Estimates with
the actual Income and Expenditure.
I have extended the Balance Sheet to show the Capital Outlay
on the various works as against the amount of loans outstanding, and
have also appended a Statement of Loans showing the Expenditure,
Instalments repaid, and Summary of Loans outstanding at March,
25th, 1899.
In conclusion I may add that the Stocks Ledger Balances have
been carefully compared with the Stocks returned at the Depots, and
the few differences accounted for. The differences brought down in
suspense from the previous year have also been gone into, and the
whole of them rectified.
I am, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient servant,
CHAS. H. PATTEBSON, A.S.A.A.,
Vestry Accountant.
June 20th, 1899.
