The Contribution under the Equalisation of Rates Act, for the
year under review was £5753 9s. 7d., as against £5672 Is. 4d. in
1897 to 1898.
The Stocks of materials on hand, we are glad to say, agree in a
much more satisfactory manner with the Stocks Ledger balances
than in the previous year. We have pleasure also in saying that the
general keeping of the books show a marked improvement.
We have audited the Overseers Cash Book and Rate Books
(General and Sewers) and also the Churchwardens Charities Accounts.
We shall be pleased to give you any further information in our
power.
