In conclusion, it may not be out of place to suggest to the
London County Council, that, instead of their expending the large
sum of money they have done in disinfectants and deodorizing agents
for main sewers in hot weather, that the money should be expended
on their re-construction, where required, and more efficient flushing
in hot weather.
