SCAVENGING, WATERING,
AND
REMOVAL OF DUST DEPARTMENT
With reference to the work in this department, I beg respectfi
to refer the Vestry to my Report dated the 3rd April, 1888, sett
forth proposed alteration of mode of carrying out the work, and sav<
in the cost.
The whole of the Courts and Alleys throughout the Pari
during the hot weather have been cleansed and disinfected t\\
in every week witfi carbolic acid mixed with water, and the W<
Paving, Borough High Street, washed twice a week with carb<
acid and water.
