MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH.
FOR THE YEAR ENDING LADY-DAY, 1887.
Mr Chairman and Gentlemen,
In presenting to you my Ninth Annual Report to March 25th, 1887, I am hap
to say that the year has been an uneventful one with regard to disease, as there ???
been no epidemic.
1,149 Males, and 1,125 Females, giving a total of 2,274, were born and registe???
in this District during the year.
The Deaths were 1,253. 641 Males, and 612 Females; being slightly in exc???
of last year. The deaths of Males exceeded that of Females by 29.
The Death rate was 21.3.
The Births were 114 more than last year, and 1,021 in excess of Deaths.
