sewers department.
The whole of the Brick and Pipe Sewers have been flushed and
???sed.
Since my last report, the necessity for the construction of Flushing
???bers at the summits of the Pipe Sewers that cannot be flushed by
???ns of the brick sewers, has been more amply shown by the
page of many of the pipe sewers during the past year.
It would be very beneficial to the Parish if the Main Sewers under
control of the Metropolitan Board of Works were more thoroughly
???ed and cleansed.
This could easily and effectually be done by using the water from
River Thames at high water for the main sewers on the southern
of the Thames, by carrying a 9 inch pipe from the ends of the
???ers to the river.
The undermentioned Works have also been executed, viz : —
???ers opened, cleansed and repaired
???Sewers constructed and lengthened 5
???se Drains connected into Sewers 56
???se Drains cleared by Flushers 56
???v Gullies constructed 7
???v Urinal constructed 1
