and 70 at forty and over.

The greatest number of Deaths occurred in the first and second quarters. This
is to be accounted for by the epidemic of Whooping Cough, which had been excessive
in the last quarter of last year; but it is singular that the number of Deaths from
this disease is exactly the same as that of the preceding year.
