The following letter, dated 11th March, 1898, from the Assistant Secretary to the Local
Government Board having been received:—
Sir,
I am directed by the Local Government Board to forward, for any observations which it
may be desired to offer, the accompanying Draft of the Order which they have caused to be
prepared for sanctioning, with modifications, the scheme made by the Vestry of the Parish
of Rotherhithe under Part II. of the Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1890,
