I am, Gentlemen,
Yours obediently,
NORMAN SCORGIE, Assoc. M. Inst. C.E.
Engineer and Surveyor.
Gentlemen,
Since writing the above, having been appointed Chief Surveyor to the Vestry of Hackney,
and my resignation having been accepted of the appointment I have had the honour
of holding from you for the past five and a half years, I cannot sever my official connection
without desiring to thank every member of the Vestry for the kindness, consideration
and support I have always received during the whole period, and to assure you that my
services will always be available to my successor should he desire any assistance which
it is in my power to give.
Yours obediently,
NORMAN SCORGIE.
