The Clerk reported that there were six continuing Trustees of the Wharf adjoining Church
Stairs, now known as Church Wharf, and that the nomination of new Trustees rested with such
continuing Trustees, who had accordingly nominated seven fit and substantial Inhabitants within
the said Parish to be new Trustees accordingly, to make up the proper number of thirteen of
whom the Rector was one, and exclusive of the upper Churchwarden who was a Trustee ex-officio;
also that it would be necessary that such appointment should be carried into effect by deed, and
that the site of the Amicable School in Adam's Gardens should also be conveyed to such new
Trustees when appointed.
It was Resolved—That the Clerk prepare the necessary deeds for appointment of the new
Trustees, and that the expenses of and incidental to their preparation and completion be borne
by the Vestry.
The following are the names of the Trustees, namely:—
*The Rev. Canon Beck,
*Mr. Edward Talbot,
* ,, Francis John Bisley,
* ,, Thomas William Clarke,
* ,, Edward James Talbot,
* ,, George Mabbs,
Mr. Francis Thomas Talbot,
,, James Wigginton,
,, Frederick James Rooney,
,, George Butcher,
,, Ralph Westall Walker,
,, Samuel Brownfield, and
,, William George Wells.
Note.— 1 hose marked thus (*) are the six surviving Trustees.
The Clerk was also instructed, as soon as the several appointments should be completed, to
revise the book containing the history of the Charities belonging to the Parish, and to have the
same printed.
