The Vestry sanctioned the execution by the Leaseholder of drainage for the 34
new houses in Moodkee-street, which was carried out, viz.:
235 feet of 15-inch pipe
103 „ 12 „
120 „ 9 „
100 „ 6 „
6 Gulleys, and
2 Flushing Boxes
Lengths of 252 feet of 15-inch and 72 feet of 12-inch pipe sewer respectively have
been laid in Rotherhithe-street, eastward and westward of Queen-street, together with
132 feet of 6-inch pipe sewer, with manhole to drain, at a cost of £103 9s. 0d.
The Metropolitan Board of Works having approved of a plan for the drainage of
the new property, Eugenia-road and Corbett's-lane, on the St. Helena Gardens Estate,
comprising a total length of 1350 feet of 15-inch pipe sewer, the Vestry sanctioned the
execution thereof by the Leaseholder, subject to the supervision of the Surveyor of
Sewers.
Paving Works.
The following materials have been used in repairing roads during the year ending
25th March, 1883, viz.:

The footway Rotherhithe New-road, at Beaconsfield-terrace, has been flagged with
York at a cost of £60 4s. l0d.
