Financial.
£5,204 2s. 0d. has been paid off the Loan borrowed in 1868, of Mr. Robert
Lawrence, for paving the carriageway, Union Road, and part of the Deptford Lower
Road, leaving £14,257 18s. 0d. to be repaid by equal instalments within a period
of nine years with interest at £5 per cent. per annum.
The Loans for £1,500 for paving works and £60O for Sewers works borrowed
of Mr. Edward Talbot still continue, these Loans being repayable in fifteen and
ten years respectively, from the year 1870.
