The sanitary work performed is very much of the same character as I have had to
bring under your notice on former occasions, and the amount and nature of it will be
explained by the following statement furnished by the Sanitary Inspector,
Mr. Edwards.
Notices issued for Sanitary amendments, &c. of houses and premises 436
Houses and Premises cleansed, repaired and whitewashed 192
Removal of complaints arising from defective drainage 73
Houses disinfected after infectious diseases occurring therein 104
Bake-houses, Licensed Cow-houses, and Slaughter-houses periodically inspected.
