To the Vestry of the Parish of Rotherhithe
Gentlemen.—
I have to report that during the past quarter I have received and analysed
14 samples of articles of food, including 8 butters, 4 milks and 2 sweets, of these
the following two were proved to be admixtures, viz:—
11th May—Butter contained 75 per cent. foreign fat.
17th May—Butter „ 75 „ „

To the Vestry of the Parish of Rotherhithe,
Gentlemen.—
In terms of the Act I have to report the receipt of 6 articles of food
from the Inspector during the past quarter, viz:—2 of gin and 4 of butter. The
gin was the ordinary weak and sweetened article commonly sold over the counter.

The carriageways and footways of the following new streets have been made up and paved uuder contract as follows, viz:—
