The Carriageway of this road has been made up, and the footways paved with York paving, and the cost of the work apportioned as follows, viz.:—

The following new Trustees have been appointed to Kidd's Gift, viz.: The Rev.
Edward Josselyn Beck, Rector, and Messrs. Robert Allen and John Bulmer, in the
place of the Rev. Edward Blick and Mr. Robert Newham, both deceased, and Mr. John
Kelsey, resigned.
MISCELLANEOUS.
Urinal, Jamaica Level.
This Urinal has been erected complete, under the direction of the Vestry of
Bermondsey, at a total cost of £186 2s. 8d.; one moiety of which cost will be borne
by that Vestry, and the other moiety by the Vestry of this parish.
Fire Escapes.
Shortly after the disastrous fire and loss of life which occurred on the 23rd August,
1870. at No. 6, Church Street, the Vestry caused a letter to be addressed to the Metropolitan
Board of Works, calling the attention of that Board to the inutility of the system

The footways of this street have been paved with Tar paving, and the carriageway made up, and the cost apportioned as follows, viz.:—
