Financial.
The Sewers Loan of £800, borrowed by the Vestry of Mr. Samuel Brandon, at £5 per
cent. per annum, still continues.
£600 has been paid off the Paving Loan borrowed of Mr. J. W. Barrett, leaving £1,400
to be repaid by yearly instalments of £200 each, with interest at £5 per cent per annum.
A Loan of £9,462 for Paving purposes has been borrowed of Mr. Robert Lawrence, of
Ware, Herts, to be repaid by equal annual instalments, within a period of twenty years, with
interest at £5 per cent. per annum.
In order to meet the estimated expenses of paving the new streets hereinbefore mentioned,
the proposed improvement, Jamaica Level, &c., the Vestry have resolved to borrow a further
sum of £3,000 upon the security of the Paving and General Purposes Rates of this parish, and
spread the repayment thereof over a period of twenty years.
